Before making an appointment, we ask that you review our general policies and terms regarding no-shows and late cancellations. You must accept these during the booking process.

Policies and Terms of Service
The following are the current policies and terms of service affecting your use of our services and the online scheduling system:
Generally, a full refund/credit is available up to 18 hours before your appointment should you need to cancel.
Before this time, you can easily cancel or reschedule an appointment yourself using the convenient links on your confirmation and reminder emails.
Online cancellation is not available inside the 18 hour time window. Please send a request for late-cancellation to:
Clients may opt to re-schedule their appointment instead of canceling. However, the late cancellation fee for the original appointment still applies. The exception to this is SAME-DAY re-scheduling for CHIROPRACTIC or FOOT LEVELERS services. (See "SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS and RE-SCHEDULING" below)
We also have a 'No-Parking' policy for our scheduling system. 'Parking' is when a client makes an appointment for one time, and also a seperate appointment for a later time... They park in the later time "just in case" they cannot make the first one. Obviously, we cannot permit this.
For cancellations made less than 18 hours before appointment time; The following charges will apply...
¥3500 for chiropractic services
¥4500 for TRADITIONAL acupuncture services (Incl. Acupuncture and Essentials)
50% for all other services
For prepaid appointments, the balance will be refunded online. You will receive email notice of the refunded amount. All others will have the amount added to their 'account' and must clear the balance at their next visit or in some cases, prior to being permitted to book new appointments.
NO CREDITS will be offered in the event of no-shows. ('no-show' is when a client neither contacts us in-time to attempt late-cancellation AND, does not show for the scheduled appointment)
Late-Shows MAY be seen (at the discretion of the provider) IF sufficient time remains to satisfactorily complete the service in the time frame available. (Generally, more than 15-minutes late will be deemed a No-Show)

When using a certificate or pre-paid code to pay for a service, a no-show for the appointment results in the use of the credit from the certificate or code used.
No-shows which were NOT pre-paid at the time of scheduling: A charge equal to the scheduled fee(s) will either be noted on your account or charged to your registered payment method.
Outstanding charges must be cleared before any further services are scheduled. The account will be blocked from scheduling services until admin releases the lockout.
SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS and RE-SCHEDULING:
Clients are welcome to make appointments on the same day the service is offered with as little as one-hour prior notice. However, SAME-DAY appointments MAY NOT be canceled online. Therefore, please select your appointment times carefully as the above policies will apply.
We reserve the right to cancel appointments on short notice due to illness, accident or dangerous conditions, (i.e. tropical storm or typhoon conditions). If an appointment must be canceled due to such exigent circumstances, we will offer either a full refund OR the client may reschedule to another day/time. Clients may easily reschedule such appointments, either by using the link on the confirmation email message or, if within the 18 hour window, by contacting Okinawa Chiropractic Center via email.
Clients indicate acceptance of these terms, when making each appointment online, by checking a box on the confirmation screen. We cannot service any appointments from those who do not/cannot accept these terms.
